KIDS OUTFITS THROUGHOUT by LMN3
My name is Sofie, I am 37 years old and have been with Ive since 2007. (for me ‘Zivo’) We have a son Finn 6 and a daughter Iza 3 together.
We live in Belgium, Limburg (Hamont Achel).
I love making people happy and I am lucky that my job allows me to do that every day. I teach photography to adults at CVO De Verdieping in Zolder. It is a very rewarding job, where I can share my passion with like-minded people. Outside of that I photograph families, weddings, children... That gives me energy, positivity... and the reactions when they receive the photos, make my day
THE RITUALS:
1. How do you start the day?
Due to years of interrupted nights, we decided to just sleep in one room, the four of us. If one person is awake in the morning, so are the rest. We start the day with chocolate milk/coffee and help each other get to school/work on time. Iza is in the phase of 'doing everything yourself' so we start on time. If there is still time left, they can color before they leave for school. On the weekends we enjoy the slower pace...
2. How do you end the day?
Very cliché: with a story in the big bed, hugs, kisses... and 'I love you to the moon and back'
3. What are the favorite activities for the whole family to do together during winter holidays?
In the winter we do some work on the house together, we try to get outside as much as possible, go for walks, go out together while I can take pictures... but we also like to cocoon, enjoy good food with friends and family. . My husband really likes to cook, especially on his BBQ. The Christmas holidays are all about family. We celebrate Christmas with my family in a house where we can accommodate all 21 people, a pleasant hustle and bustle. In February we usually go skiing with friends. That's actually still a year too early for Iza, but we enjoy being active outside all day long. For several years now we have always chosen Italy, but we also love Austria. We love good food, conviviality... and friendly people, so you're always in the right place in those countries.
4. How do you pack your kids´ clothes for holidays? Any tips or tricks?
Packing suitcases for the holidays is completely my job. I count the days and add 3 spare days to know how much to take with me. I already combine the clothes in my head and ensure a good mix from casual to festive.
